Security of Web CamerasThe KidsVision services uses a multi-tiered security process
to protect against unathorized access to the web cameras. First, all authorized users
are first approved by Cornerstone staff before they are entered into the system. Usernames
and and passwords are encrypted to ensure that information cannot be read in clear text.
In addition, ALL access both successful and unsuccessful attempts to use the cameras, are logged with IP addresses.
24 hour monitoring of the service allows us to track any suspicious activity, and parents and other authorized
users are given access to specific rooms within the facility.
The web camera service can be thought of similiar to our "open door policy" except the service
makes this more convenient. Instead of driving to our center, users can login through a secure connection
over the Internet.
